Talk of tensions between Beijing and Washington is rife after a snub by the former when US president, Barrack Obama was the only world leader not given red carpet upon his arrival at the two day G20 meeting in China

Leaders of 20 of the world’s most powerful economies met in the Chinese city of Hangzhou and international media was abuzz with after the proverbial carpet was pulled from under the hopes of strengthen relations between Obama and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping

Relations between the two super powers have become frayed and fraught with frustration over the past seven years with China having come to define Obama’s foreign policy in Asia

With all that said, the G20 meeting came to an end on Monday and everyone is going back home, red carpet or not
