The irrelevant youth wing of the ANC has vowed to defend President Jacob Zuma and affirmed his leadership until his end of term. Careful now, December when the ANC holds its elective conference where party members will choose new leaders, is only in 8 months. The ANCYL held a rally which was attended by a few members and supports in Germiston, east of Johannesburg.

Speaking at the rally Njabulo Ndzuza, ANCYL Secretary General said the ANC youth league supports President Jacob Zuma and the cabinet reshuffle.

President Jacob Zuma was supposed the address the youth. Instead, he sent Nomvula Mokonyane, mamaAction as she is affectionately called within the movement- don’t ask me what action they are referring to- who members of the ANC Integrity Commission have questionable integrity. Mind you, the chair of the commission is Rivonia trialist and former Robben Islander Andrew Mlangeni.

Does this NOT remind you of Malusi Gigaba saying the ANC stalwarts were ‘illdisciplined so-called stalwart’ after Mofu Ahmed Kathrada asked from Zuma to step down?

MamaAction was coming from an ANC working committee meeting where Zuma apparently won support even though some part leaders had criticised him for his recent cabinet reshuffle. Rumour has it that even Treasure General Dr Zwewli Mkhize apologised for slating the president in Public. Now that’s something 🤔

The ANC Youth League and Mokonyana have warned those planning to March to Luthuli House, the headquarters of the ANC saying that they will be waiting for them with sajmboks and weapons.

The Democratic Alliance, EFF which the ANCYl has threatened and a number of civil rights organisation calling for President Zuma to step down have planned protest for this Friday
